Pack the popcorn, grab an ice-cream, the Big Screen is BACK!

Harrogate International Festivals is proud to host the Big Screen in Montpellier Gardens.

Will Harrogate have its very own Murray Mount watching the Wimbledon Finals Live? Pitch your picnic blanket early to bag your spot to watch the Men’s Finals.

The free outdoor movie event has become one of Harrogate’s most popular attractions of the summer. As well as live sport, there’s a feast of free Hollywood blockbusters and family movies.

Here’s what’s coming up…

11am: Paddington Bear

Ditch the popcorn and pack the marmalade sandwiches. The loveable Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home in this magical adventure, voiced by Ben Whishaw, Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Peter Capaldi and Sally Hawkins.

1pm: Minions

They evolved from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, and yes, it’s one of the highest grossing films of all time!

3pm: Up!

Heart felt and heart-warming, set off for a movie adventure with 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl as he fulfils a lifelong dream in the South American wilderness, with stowaway 8 year-old Russell.

5pm: Top Gun

Tom Cruise, aviator sunglasses, and the 1980s. You know you want to.

7.30pm: Spectre

Bond, James Bond, causes havoc in Mexico in a remarkable opening scene in this latest outing starring Daniel Craig.

10am: Singin’ In the Rain

Whatever the weather, there’s always music, dance and Gene Kelly in this iconic movie following lucky stars, and bad miming starlets, as the talkies take over Hollywood’s silent screens.

12 noon: Inside Out

It’s an emotional rollercoaster and adventure as joy, anger, disgust, fear and sadness come to life inside the mind of a young girl named Riley, in Pixar’s animated comedy-hit.

2pm Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final LIVE

Strawberries and cream time.

7.30pm: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
