In the last week, North Yorkshire Police have received two separate reports of a man acting suspiciously and following a 23-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl in the Bilton area of Harrogate.
The reports gave a description of the man being between 5’7’’ and 5’8’’ tall with short brown hair, wearing a black hoody, black jeans and black trainers. One report stated that the man was seen to drive a black Audi.
Police would like to point out that no one has been physically harmed, however they are wanting to raise awareness of the incident and remind women and girls in the local area to be vigilant and safe. Enquiries are currently ongoing and local officers are consulting CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses in a bid to try identify the alleged offender.
