A senior quantity surveyor with more than 20 years experience in the construction industry has joined an expanding Harrogate firm.
Mike Smith, a former pre-construction contract manager at York based Shepherd Construction, is the latest recruit to Pannal Business Park-based Cooper & Hall.
After leaving the construction firm, Mike spent a number of years working as a freelance quantity surveyor working for a number of companies, including his new employer.
Mike’s appointment takes the Cooper & Hall workforce up to 14. It has just announced the opening of a Glasgow office which will eventually have up to four staff based there.
Mike said:
I have worked with the Cooper & Hall team for a number of years now, and didn’t hesitate for a minute when directors Phil Cooper and Graham Hall asked if I would consider joining their team on a permanent basis.
The company is highly regarded within in the industry and I’m looking forward to adding real value and experience on not only ongoing projects, but future ones too!
