Harrogate takeover day for Macmillans, painting the town green!

Macmillan Support has thanked  for the supporter for today’s (28 May 2016) huge town centre collection.

All the money raised will be used for services at the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre at Harrogate District Hospital.

The event had the support from many local businesses with Boots being a key supporter.

Michaela Ryder, Macmillan Fundraising Manager, North Yorkshire:

We’ve been blown away by the support and generosity of everyone in Harrogate today. So far we’ve raised over £2,000 for local services, and we’re still counting!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to support us, and to our amazing army of volunteers.

We’re proud of every single one of them who dressed up, painted themselves green, and collected with a big smile all day… we couldn’t have done it without them!
