Man receives knife injury in York

A man in his twenties has suffered a knife injury to his arm which required hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after the incident in York on Sunday evening.

An altercation involving two men occurred on Saxon Place, off Dodsworth Avenue, in the early evening of Sunday 13 March 2016.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault. In particular, officers want to speak to a man seen in the area driving a small dark-coloured car. He is described as white , about 5ft tall, skinny build and short dark hair.
