£3,000 stolen from pensioner following Ripon bank card theft

A pensioner has lost over £3,000 after her bank card was stolen from her purse.

The card was taken from her purse in the Queen Street area of Ripon on 4 December, 2015.

Later that day it was used on numerous occasions in the Harrogate and Leeds areas to withdraw large amounts of cash in excess of £3,000.

PC Peter Macmillan of North Yorkshire Police said:

Police are releasing these images of a female that we believe might have key information regarding this incident, and would like anyone who might have any information about who she is or anything else to do with the incident to come forward.
