Car fails to stop after colliding with cyclist in Harrogate

Police are appealing for information following a Harrogate collision where the driver of a car failed to stop after colliding with a cyclist.

  • 10.30am on Friday 9 October 2015
  • Involved a cyclist and two vehicles

​The cyclist, a local 24yr old woman, was riding her black and green pedal cycle towards Bilton Lane.

Police are asking for the driver of a medium sized red/orange hatchback car, travelling in the same direction, as the cyclist to come forward. This is the driver that collided with the cyclist and failed to stop at the scene.

A white Ford Transit type vehicle was coming in the opposite direction.

The cyclist received slight injuries to her left foot and ankle.
