2 September 2015

Gracious Street Methodist Church in Knaresborough is putting on a Concert at 7pm on Saturday 19th September as part of its ongoing bicentenary celebrations. Featuring both ‘in house’ and visiting singers, instrumentalists and a new variation of the popular ‘six hands in concert’ as well as some humour, the concert will raise money for the charity ’All We Can’. Previously during the COGS fundraising era Mike Hughes, Brian Hoare and Malcolm Hughes combined to play six hands on one piano, for this concert they will be joined by Gordon Smith to create ‘Eight Hands in Concert’.
In celebrating 200 years of Christian worship at Gracious Street the church has chosen the ‘All We Can’ project which aims to provide clean water and sanitation in Uganda as its charity for the year. So far over £5,000 has been raised by the various groups at Gracious Street.

Tickets, priced at £7, or £2 for young people, include refreshments and are available from The Bridge Coffee Bar at the church Centre On Gracious Street (COGS) from 10-12 on weekdays or from Vonni Wilkins (864833) and at the door.
