Club chairman James Smithies said:

What better way to welcome people to the new club ground than with a local derby which is set to be full of excitement.

It has taken the club 15 years to finally move from our old home at Claro Road where we spent a very happy 119 years. This first match marks a significant milestone in Harrogate Rugby Club’s history. We are very proud of the new clubhouse and grounds and we look forward to welcoming Otley here on Saturday.

Supporters can arrive at the ground in style on board the 770 service from Transdev which will drop off at the newly named Harrogate Rugby Club stop on Rudding Lane.

Fans can leave their cars at home and catch the 2.05pm from Stand 9, getting to the ground for 2.18pm for £3.50 return. Return services to Harrogate will run at 17.16, 18.16 and 19.22. For a full schedule visit www.harrogatebus.co.uk.
