Man seriously injured but in a stable condition following Harrogate collision

A man has been left with serious head injuries after road traffic collision in Harrogate.

The man, in his 20s, suffered injury when his black MG ZR collided with a blue Skoda near St Marks Church on the A61 Leeds Road at around 5.30am on Sunday 31 May 2015. The injured man remains in stable condition in Harrogate Hospital.

The MG was travelling from Leeds towards Harrogate town centre when it hit the Skoda travelling in the opposite direction and then collided with a tree.

A silver Mercedes was damaged after being hit by debris from the collision.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw any of the cars prior to the incident to contact them with information.
