A man who was assaulted in Richmond at the weekend has died in hospital. Local man Andrew Jackson, aged 43, suffered a serious head injury when he was assaulted near the entrance to the Georgian Theatre, on Victoria Road, at sometime between 11.10pm and 11.25pm on Saturday 25 April 2015. Andrew was receiving treatment at James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough, where he sadly passed away this afternoon (Monday 27 April 2015).
