CThe Harrogate and Ilkley-based charity, Acorn, held its 5th annual Bridge Day at Pannal Golf Club attracting 84 bridge enthusiasts.
The event was once again organised by Steve and Ruth Vollar.
The event raised £1,600 for Acorn’s chosen charities – people with dementia and their carers in the Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby area and for research into scleroderma disease at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This year’s winners were Sharon Brown and Peter Horner
Chairman Louise Hanen says, ‘We are very grateful to Pannal Golf Club for making us so welcome and to Steve and Ruth Vollar who helped us to organise the day and to everyone who supported us by donating our super raffle prizes.’
