4 October 2014

Skipton police have issued an appeal to trace a Land Rover Discovery following a collision near Skyreholme (around 6 miles West of Pateley Bridge).

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Thursday 2 October 2014, when a Vauxhall Adam was travelling along the unclassified road which leads from the B6265 towards Skyreholme.

The Vauxhall left the road and collided with a dry stone wall. The driver of the car, a woman in her twenties was taken to Airedale Hospital with a suspected head injury.

Officers are appealing to the occupants of a dark blue, old style, Land Rover Discovery to come forward which is believed to have been in the area at the time.

They would also like to hear from anyone else who was in the area and witnessed the collision, saw either of the vehicles before the Vauxhall crashed, or can help identify the occupants of the dark blue Land Rover.
