Harrogate Therapy Wise is expanding with the acquisition of the ‘Get Physio’ physiotherapy and pilates practice at Harrogate Squash & Fitness Centre.
The Therapy Wise team will now work from both its town centre venue on Victoria Avenue and at the recently refurbished Squash & Fitness Centre rooms on Hookstone Wood Road.
Get Physio was previously owned by Chartered Physiotherapist Andy Carswell who sadly passed away from cancer in January 2014. Andy successfully built up the practice over the last 15 years and earned an impressive reputation for his work. The team at Therapy Wise hopes to build on this reputation and invites previous clients to revisit the practice now that it is up and running again.
Therapy Wise is already a well-known practice in the centre of Harrogate offering a wide range of therapies including physiotherapy, podiatry, pilates and massage.
Practice Principal and Owner Annelize Ferreira MCSP said: We have been building a busy physiotherapy and podiatry practice with a good reputation over the past few years and felt the time was right to expand.
Get Physio was a perfect acquisition as we now have access to a fully equipped gym and studio and ample parking for clients. We can now service all our clients and offer that little bit extra.
We have kept the name Get Physio at the Squash Club venue in memory of Andy who was a well-respected physio in Harrogate.
We hope to offer clients the same service Andy delivered and hope many people will come back to the clinic now it is open again.
