CCTV images released following theft of £5K cycle

2Harrogate police have released CCTV images of a man they need to trace in connection with the theft of a bicycle in the town.

It was stolen at 5.40pm on Thursday 17 July 2014, from Morrisons supermarket, Plumpton Road, where it had been securely locked to a cycle rack.

The Specialised FSR Carbon Evo 14 StuntJumper, which is grey, is valued at around £5,000.

 

PC Lucy Ray, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: If you recognise the man captured on camera I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.

I am also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered a bike matching that of the one stolen, in suspicious circumstances, to get in touch as soon as possible.
