Britain’s Got Talent duo Richard and Adam have announced a charity performance at The Royal Hall, Harrogate.
The Welsh brothers, who rose to fame after finishing in third place on the hit ITV show, have confirmed a special concert for Harrogate-based charity Yorkshire Cancer Research on Friday, 26th September.
The singers’ debut album ‘The Impossible Dream’ spent four weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart, becoming the country’s longest running number one album in 2013.
Their Christmas album, which received critical acclaim, was followed by a tour of the UK. A third album ‘At The Movies’ is set to be released next Monday, 11 August 2014.
Richard said: We’re really excited to be performing in Harrogate. The Royal Hall is a truly stunning venue and we’re looking forward to helping to raise vital funds for a very worthy cause.
Andy Pierce, Events Manager at Yorkshire Cancer Research, added: We’re absolutely thrilled that Richard and Adam are performing on behalf of the charity. They represent the very best of British talent and we’re very honoured to be welcoming them to Harrogate. We’re hoping the event will raise thousands of pounds to help us improve cancer outcomes across Yorkshire.
