Randomly targeted victims urged to come forward by Harrogate Police

The incidents all occurred in and around the town centre on the night of Friday 4 July into the early hours of Saturday 5 July 2014.

The victims were randomly targeted by the suspects who threatened them with violence and in some instances, property including mobile phones, bank cards and cash were stolen.

So far seven victims have come forward, however, detectives believe other victims may have been targeted and are appealing for anyone who has been subjected to violence in Harrogate town centre on the night in question, to contact them.

They are also appealing to anyone who witnessed any of the incidents to get in touch.

Three people, including a 17-year-old boy, and two men aged 21 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the incidents and given police bail while the investigations continue.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Harrogate CID.
