Appeal after moped rider injured near Harrogate

Harrogate police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which left a moped rider with a broken wrist.

It happened at 9.40am on Thursday 19 June 2014 on the A61 at Almsford Bank between Leeds and Harrogate.
A red, Honda Jazz car and a blue moped collided as they both travelled towards Harrogate.
The rider of the moped, a 29-year-old man from Bradford, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital where he was treated for a broken wrist and cuts and bruises.
The driver of the Honda Jazz, a 42-year-old woman from Wakefield, was uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and to anyone who saw either of the vehicles prior to the crash, to contact them.
