One of the UK’s largest independent family owned service suppliers to the events industry is celebrating after a stand they built won best in show.
Joe Manby Limited, which is based in Harrogate, ‘brought to life’ the stand created for Knaresborough-based Broker Network for this year’s BIBA (British Insurance Brokers’ Association) exhibition that was held in Manchester.
In celebration of their 20th Anniversary, Broker Network, the UK’s largest network for independent brokers, chose a garden party theme with graphics produced by in-house senior creative Rachel Holden.
Joe Manby Limited’s expert event team then helped her achieve her goals, advising on some of the practicalities such as installing ‘grass’ carpet, artificial potted plants and hanging baskets, and decorating the area with bunting.
The team work paid off as BIBA handed Broker Network the ‘Best Shell Scheme Stand’ accolade.
Gary Duggan, Broker Network CEO, said: The BIBA exhibition is one of the key networking events of the year, and it is crucial we make a good impression as this is an important opportunity to meet members, insurers and prospects in an informal setting.
Of course it was even more important this year as it is our 20th Anniversary and Joe Manby Limited’s experience really helped us achieve the look we were after.
Broker Network is the UK’s leading network of independent insurance brokers, with over 600 members.
Joe Manby Limited, which is celebrating 40 years in business in 2014, was a finalist in the Exhibition News Awards last month and has just been shortlisted in the AEO Awards.
