Emergency services were called to the junction of Grove Road on Skipton Road in Harrogate at 07:51 this morning (17 May 2014)
The Fire and Rescue Service from the the nearby Harrogate station attended the collision that involved a Toyota Yaris and a Ford Transit van.
The female driver of the Toyota was initially trapped and was released from the vehicle by fire crews using hydraulic cutting gear. She was taken to hospital by road ambulance with minor injuries.
The occupants of the van were uninjured.
