The Dukes of Bevington from Harrogate

The Dukes of Bevington ‘Days & Nights’

9 May 2014

Harrogate trio, The Dukes Of Bevington have shared their new video for forthcoming single ‘Days & Nights’ which can be watched via the bands YouTube page here. The track itself is now available for digital download.

Taking inspiration from Temper Trap, Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Two Door Cinema Club, The Dukes Of Bevington are for listeners who enjoy a hefty dose of infectious indie-pop-rock blaring from their speakers.

Comprising of Scott Quinn on Lead Vocals and Bass, Christian Davies on guitar and James Locke on drums, the three-piece met at college in Leeds four years ago. They began when curing their boredom involved creating cover tracks with random objects, one of which was Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap performed using glass bottles and cereal boxes. Evidence can be found online. This then lead the band to consider performing original songs with real instruments and after a well-received performance at a charity event thought it would be worth a shot.

Since the days of cardboard choruses The Dukes Of Bevington have self-released two EP’s which gained local attention and praise from BBC Radio Leeds. The band has also performed at all the renowned local venues including The Cockpit, Royal Hall and Leeds O2 Academy.

James said: We have had amazing support from the Leeds music scene, now we want to try and take things a bit further. We plan on making a trip to London for a show very soon.

‘Days & Nights’ is taken from the bands forthcoming EP, a yet to be named release due out later this year.
