85-year-old mobility scooter rider injured in Wetherby road collision

Harrogate police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in the town.
It occurred at 2.40pm on Tuesday 29 April 2014, on Wetherby Road, near Sainsbury’s, involving a lorry and a mobility scooter.
As a result of the collision, the 85-year-old man riding the mobility scooter suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

He was taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment.
