Motorcyclist injured in Harrogate collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was injured in a road traffic collision near Harrogate.
The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old man from the Wakefield area, suffered injuries to his left hand and fingers in the collision which occurred at around 2pm on Friday 18 April 2014, near Brookside Nurseries in Pannal.
His red Yamaha bike collided with the rear of a silver vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene.
Officers are appealing to the driver of the silver vehicle to come forward and help them with their enquiries.
Anyone else who witnessed the incident is also urged to contact the police with information.
