Witnesses needed after teenager receives minor injuries following collision

A 16-year-old Harrogate girl, who was a pedestrian at the time, has been injured in a collision with a vehicle.

It occurred at around 6pm on Friday 7 February 2014, at the junction of Hookstone Road and Oatlands Drive.

The collision involved a blue Citroen Xsara and the girl who suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harrogate District Hospital. She was later released after treatment.

Traffic Constable Steve James, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: If you were in the area at the time of collision, I ask you to contact the police as soon as possible, as you may have vital information about the incident which could assist my investigation.
