Witnesses needed following vehicle collision with 6-year-old boy

Harrogate police are appealing for information after a minor road traffic collision in the town.

It occurred at around 6.15pm on Tuesday 4 February 2014, on Pannal Ash Road.

The collision involved a grey Range Rover and a 6-year-old Harrogate boy, who was a pedestrian.

As a result of the incident, the boy suffered grazes. He was taken to Harrogate District Hospital as a precaution.

Traffic Constable Andy Macleod, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: If you witnessed the collision or saw either the vehicle or child just prior to the incident, I ask that you contact the police straight away, as you may have vital information which could help my enquiries.
