Acceleris appointed by steel specialist behind the UK’s most iconic structures

Harrogate PR Agency, Acceleris has been appointed, by the specialist structural steelwork group behind some of the UK’s most iconic sporting, leisure, entertainment, transport, commercial and landmark buildings.

Severfield-Rowen Plc, whose project work includes The Shard, Wimbledon Centre Court, the London Olympics stadium, Heathrow Terminal 2A, the Emirates and Etihad Stadiums, home to Arsenal and Manchester City, the Paris Philharmonic Hall and Leeds Arena among many others, has engaged the agency to lead a programme of brand development, website and internal communications.

The Group, which has operations at Sherburn, near Scarborough, Dalton, North Yorkshire, Lostock, Lancashire, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, as well as a joint venture in India, is the largest specialist steelwork business in the UK and one of the largest in Europe. It provides a full in-house service offering design, fabrication and construction and has an annual turnover of around £250 million, 1,200 employees and a strong order book.

Acceleris will be working with brand specialists, Thompson Brand Partners which has a strong track record of successfully helping organisations re-brand and position themselves more effectively to grow and develop. Meanwhile, forward-thinking creative agency Kariba, which has been established in North Yorkshire since 1997, will be handling the website design and development.
