Hairdresser honoured for services to the hair industry

Joseph Ferraro has received an accolade from his peers after being presented with an industry award.

The owner of Halo Hair and Beauty in Harrogate,has been made a Fellow with Honours by the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.

Joseph was presented with the award by Fellowship President Errol Douglas at a luncheon at the Dorchester Hotel in London .

Nominated by his hairdressing peers for services to the hairdressing industry, Australian-born Joseph is overjoyed with the honour.

Joseph said: The Fellowship for British Hairdressing Awards are unique in that the winners are nominated and chosen by fellow hairdressers.

It is very special for me to know that my peers in the industry acknowledge the hard work and commitment that I put into my profession.

It is vitally important to give back to an industry that has given me so much, and to help inspire and educate young stylists of the future.

A Fellow with Honours, awarded by the Fellowship, recognises a hairdresser who has made an ‘outstanding contribution’ to hairdressing.
