Police continue search for missing Harrogate man

A search is continuing today for a missing man (28 December 2013).

Roger Walker, aged 41, was last seen by his partner at their home on Bramham Drive, Harrogate, at around 12pm on Friday 27 December 2013. He has not been seen since and officers are concerned for his welfare.

Officers have been conducting extensive searches in and around Harrogate since Roger was reported missing and are currently looking for him in the area around Oakdale Golf Course.

Members of the public are urged to help with the search for Roger by reporting sightings of anyone matching his description.

He is described as white, 5’7 stocky build, last seen wearing wearing dark blue jeans red and blue skiing jacket timberland grey woolly hat. He also wears a gold hoop earring in one of his ears.

Inspector John Downham, of North Yorkshire , said: Roger has been missing overnight and it is important that we locate him and make sure he is safe and well.

I would urge people who are out and about in the Harrogate area to be vigilant and let us know if they see him.

Officers have been conducting extensive searches in and around Harrogate since Roger was reported missing and are currently looking for him in the area around Oakdale Golf Course.

People are urged to call the non-emergency police contact number and quote ref 0327 if they have information about his whereabouts or any sightings should be reported on 999.
