Harrogate/Ripon
6.20am – Marina Way, Ripon – Tree down onto parked car, blocking road.
6.35am – Shaw Lane, Beckwithshaw – Tree blocking road near s bends just south of the village.
6.45am – Hebden Bank, Sawley, Ripon – Tree down. Road blocked. Road clear at 8.20am.
6.55am – Spofforth – Tree down.
7.05am – Hookstone Chase, Harrogate – Large tree blocking the road outside St John Fisher School. Road clear at 9.40am.
7.20am – Norwood Grove, Harrogate – Tree down, blocking road. Traffic just about getting through. Highways Agency attending.
7.25am – Burton Leonard – Tree down on Copgrove Road near Royal Oak pub. Local farm helped to move the tree. Road clear at 8.30am.
7.37am – Church lane, Pannal – Tree down, blocking road. Officers moved the tree with help from local bin men. Road clear at 8.25am.
7.41am – Darley – Tree down at Stumps Lane.
7.45am – Bishop Monkton – Tree down in 30mph. Road clear by 10.25am.
7.55am – Skipton Road, Harrogate. Tree down.
8.40am – Beech Grove, Harrogate. Tree down. Highways dealing.
9am – Follifoot – large sheet of metal in road on A658.
9am – Ripon – tree down on Whitcliffe Lane. Highways attending.
10.15am – Park Avenue, Harrogate – Tree down. Road blocked.
10.30am – Nidderdale Drive, Knaresborough. Tree down.
10.30am – Knaresborough – Tree blocking footpath on York place.
10.35am – Green Lane, Harrogate. Tree blocking road.
10.35am – Bridge Hewick, Ripon. Temporary traffic lights blown into road.
10.40am – Gracious Street, Knaresborough. Chimney pot blown off roof of house.
11.15am – Littlethorpe – Tree down.
Hambleton/Richmondshire
6.20am – Craggs Lane, Scotton – Tree down, blocking road between Bedale and Richmond. Road clear at 7.40am.
6.30am – A167 Hutton Bondville. Tree down, completely blocking northbound carriageway and partially blocking southbound. Highways Agency dealing with the incident.
6.45am – Station Lane, Morton on Swale – Telegraph pole down, completely blocking the road. Officers moved the pole to the side of the road. Carriageway clear at 8.15am.
6.45am – Tree down in Middleham. Road completely blocked. Highways Agency dealing with the incident.
6.50am – Moor Lane, Scorton. Tree down just before Tunstall.
7.45am – Sandbeck – Tree down, partially blocking road. Police and member of public chop tree up. Road clear at 8.25am.
8am – Bullamoor Road, Northallerton – Tree down. Highways attending.
8.10am – Thornton Le Moor – Telegraph pole in dangerous position. Highways Agency attending.
8.20am – Sutton Bank – Tree overhanging into the road at the top of the bank. Highways Agency attending.
8.40am – Newby Wiske – Tree down on Maunby Lane. Farmer removed tree from the road, which is now clear.
9.05am – Middleton Tyas – Roof of lorry blown off on A66. Not safe for drive to continue with his journey.
9.10am – Bedale – tree blocking Firby Road. Power cables also blown down. Highways and N Power attending.
9.15am – Baldersby – Tree blocking road on A61 near garden centre. Local farmer moved tree and road clear at 9.50am.
9.25am – A1 Baldersby. Wagon blown over.
10.05am – Bullamoor Road, Northallerton. Tree down. Road completely blocked.
York/Tadcaster/Wetherby
6.25am – B1223 Ulleskelf, Tadcaster – Overhanging branch between Ulleskelf and Towton, blocking road. Passable with care.
7.25am – Bickerton – Car hit by flying trampoline on A1224. Car paintwork damaged. No injuries. Trampoline being removed by Highways Agency.
8am – Wighill – Tree blocking road – Highways Agency attending.
8.20am – A19 Riccall – tree branch blocking road. Road clear at 8.30am.
8.20am – Naburn – Tree down near Naburn Caravan Park.
8.20am – Rudgate – Tree fallen onto car. Road blocked. Road clear at 10.20am.
8.20am – Acomb, York – Tree causing hazard near the Sun Inn. Highways closed road and chopped tree down.
8.40am – Elvington – Tree down on B1228. Road blocked. Highways attending.
8.50am – Ryther – Tree down, partially blocking road.
9.15am – Kirk Hammerton – Tree blocking road near Westfield Farm. Highways Agency dealing.
9.20am – Escrick – Tree down near Bell Hall.
9.25am – Tadcaster – falling branch smashed windscreen of parked car at Grammar School.
9.45am – Cowthorpe – Tree blocking road on A168. Highways attending.
10am – Sheriff Hutton Road, Strensall. Tree down.
10.55am – Tree down on Huntington Road. Falling tree hit car rear windscreen. Driver uninjured. Road closed between Bell Farm Avenue and Helay’s Terrace.
11.10am – Brockfield Park Drive, York. Lampost down.
11.20am – Pockley. Tree down on A170.
11.30am – York – Piece of fence timber across both lanes of A64 westbound at Fulford.
11.30am – Slingsby Bank – Tree in Road.
Scarborough/Whitby
7am – Ruswarp – large branch down outside Mini Monsters. Partially blocking carriageway. Branch moved to side of road and carriageway clear by 7.45am.
Malton/Pickering
7.25am – Thorntonthorpe – tree down, blocking road. Local farmer helped to move tree. Road clear at 7.50am.
10.30am – Thornton Le Dale – Tree down on Priestmans Lane. Power cables also damaged. Northern Power and Highways attending.
Selby
7.45am – South Milford – Tree down near Swan Hotel. Highways attended at 10am and closed road.
8.25am – Portholme Road – Tree down near Tesco.
8.45am – Chapel Haddlesley – Phone line overhanging road. BT attending.
8.30am – Barlby – Tree down, partially blocking road near Barlby County Primary School. One lane blocked, passable with care. Highways attending.
9am – Knottingley – Tree in road on Sutton Lane. Workmen help to move it. Road clear 10.15am.
10.45am – Wand Lane, Eggborough. Rood flooded and impassable.
11.10am – Turnham Lane, Cliffe. Tree down, road completely blocked.
Craven
8.15am – Carleton – Tree partially blocking road on Pale Lane between Skipton and Connonley. Tree clear of road by 8.55am.
8.40am – Settle – Tree down on Station Road.
9.30am – Sutton in Craven – Runaway trampoline in road.
9.50am – Ings Drive, Bradley – tree blocking road. Highways attending.
10.20am – Sutton in Craven – Tree down on Sutton Lane. Highways Agency attending.
10.30am – Embsay – tree down on Brackenley Lane.
11.05am – Raikes Road – Tree fallen across road near the cemetery.
11.10am – Airton – Tree blocking Carseyland Hill.
