Expensive jewellery taken following Antique Centre break-in

Thieves have stolen jewellery valued at between £10,000 and £15,000  from the Harrogate the Antiques Centre on Leeds Road.

It occurred at around 8pm on Thursday. 14 November 2013 and police are now appealing for information.

The stolen items include Tiffany bracelets, diamond, cameo and turquoise brooches, emerald and diamond, sapphire and solitaire rings. Also taken were Tiffany and pearl necklaces, bloodstone and diamond heart pendants as well as pearl and clip-on earrings. The thieves also took Omega, Mudu and Longine wristwatches.

PC David Mackay, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

If you have been offered any jewellery, matching the description of the stolen property, in unusual circumstances I urge you to contact the police straight away.

I am also keen to speak to anyone who can help to identify those responsible for this theft and urge them to get in touch as soon as possible.
