Audio Vogue ploughs on to complete grittiest task to date!

A Harrogate audio visual specialist has “ploughed” on to complete its “grittiest” commercial installation to date!

The team from AudioVogue, which is based on Bower Road and widely-known for its Harrogate Home Cinema showroom, were called in by Econ Engineering to deliver an audio visual solution for its gritter visitor centre – the only one of its kind in the world – in Ripon.

In addition to a displaying a number of historical snow ploughs and gritters, Econ Engineering wanted to show a number of film and news clips featuring the company and its employees to visitors.

To achieve this, AudioVogue, which is led by co-directors Andy Wyatt and Peter Hudspeth, installed a retractable projector screen and ceiling-mounted projector, associated speakers and 40in TV screen.

Additional technology used by the AudioVogue team – which allows for laptops to be plugged in and contents displayed on one or both of the screens – has enabled the visitor centre to double as a meeting room.

Econ Engineering sales manager Andrew Lupton said:

We are delighted with the solution devised by AudioVogue, which has added another dimension to our visitor centre.

We are very proud of the achievements made by Econ Engineering over the last five decades, and it’s superb that we are able to show off the company’s history in sight – and sound – to potential customers, dignitaries and members of the public.

AudioVogue co-director Andy Wyatt said:

We were delighted when Econ Engineering appointed us to devise an audio visual installation for their museum.

Our solution was one that is invisible when not in use and also allows the visitor centre to become a fully-functioning meeting room streaming content for laptops and tablets.

AudioVogue co-director Peter Hudspeth said:

Over the last two years our business has evolved from one that initially specialized in just home cinema solutions, to one that is now equally expert in commercial cinema and audio visual solutions.

Over the last 12 months, Audio Vogue has installed more than 20 audio visual systems in a variety of business and commercial properties in the Harrogate and Leeds areas.
