Witnesses report knife brandished during town centre fight

A fight involving several people occurred at around 3.15am on Friday 27 September 2013, outside Rehab Bar in the area of Parliament Street and The Ginnel.

During the incident a man was seen brandishing a knife, which officers are making enquiries to try and locate.

A man suffered a minor stab wound and a woman sustained cuts to her hands in the incident.

Police believe that a number of people were in the area at the time of the incident and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the fight or saw a man with a knife to come forward with information.

Two local men and a man from Leeds were arrested at time, all have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
