CCTV issued in hunt for Ray-Ban theft suspect

9 September 2013

Harrogate police are asking members of the public to help identify a woman they want to speak to in connection with a theft investigation.

On 15 July 2013, an Argos customer took off her Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses while she looked at jewellery in Harrogate’s Oxford Street store.

The customer inadvertently left the store without picking up her sunglasses.

Around thirty minutes later, she returned to the shop and the sunglasses were missing.

CCTV footage has revealed a woman wearing a coral pink dress stood at the jewellery counter near the customer who officers would like to speak to in connection with the theft.

She is described as white, with long dark curly hair, aged around 40, around 5ft 7in tall and dressed in a coral pink dress.
