As part of Raworths Solicitors’ sponsorship at the Harrogate International Festival, the firm and their guests had a special reception with the broadcasting legend, Michael Palin, before his talk to a packed audience at the St George Hotel.

From Monty Python’s Lumberjack song to Around the World in 80 days via A Fish Called Wanda, Michael Palin in conversation with journalist Danuta Kean was a big draw at the Raworths Literature and Lecture Series at Harrogate International Festival.

Other speakers in the event which took place over a four-day period included Richard (Madeley) and Judy (Finnigan), Ann Widdecombe, Stuart Maconie and Joanne Harris, the author of Chocolat.

Managing partner, Zoe Robinson said:

It was a tremendous thrill for our guests to meet Michael Palin in person as well as witness his very entertaining talk. Our association with Harrogate International Festival is an important part of our contribution to the arts in Harrogate.
