Urgent appeal to trace missing York man

simon pargeterYork police are urgently appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing man from the city.

Simon Pargeter, 35, has not been since 5:30pm on Sunday 30 June 2013, at his home address in Clifton. At the time he was riding a blue and silver mountain bike.

He is described as white, 6ft 1in tall with a slim to medium build and short brown hair.

It is not known where Simon is and there is no indication as to where he may have gone.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for Simon’s wellbeing as this behaviour is out of character.

Police Sergeant Jon Asvadi, who is leading the search for Simon, said:

Simon, if you see or hear this appeal, I urge you to get in touch with your family straight away. They are extremely worried about your welfare and want to know that you are safe and well.

If you would prefer to speak to a police officer please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

I am also urging members of the public who may have seen Simon since Sunday evening to contact the police immediately.

Anyone who can help locate Simon Pargeter should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, without delay, select option 1 and pass the details to the Force Control Room.
