Over 45’s Trophy this year goes to Rick Harper in a well attended Veterans Knock out held at the refurbished darts zone in the Manhattan Club, Harrogate.

Harper added the trophy to his Middle Ages trophy won in the 2010 season, and Captains trophy’s 2011 and 2012. Harper overcame a great final adversary in Ex Yorkshire player Alex Pride.

The final was won in 3 legs of 501, Pride taking the first leg in 23 Darts, hitting a 140 on the way to a positive start. Harper hit back in the second leg with 19 Dart leg 140 followed by a straight ton as Pride scored 121,100.140,120 and still couldn’t finish the job, Harper completed the game with a 23 Dart leg including a 140 as Pride ran out of steam.
