Portuguese authorities want to speak to Worsley in connection with burglary and assault offences, which occurred in Lagos, Portugal, in 2012

He is described as being white, 5ft 9in tall, with a medium build and brown hair.

Worsley’s whereabouts are unknown and it is possible that he is anywhere in the country. However, he is believed to have links in the Nottingham area.

Inspector Rob Settle, of North Yorkshire Police Tasking and Logistics Unit, is leading the hunt for Worsley.

Inspector Rob Settle said:

Stuart, if you see or hear this appeal I very strongly advise you to hand yourself in to the nearest police station immediately. This is not an issue that will go away. We will not stop the search for you until you are in custody.

I am also appealing to anyone who may know where Stuart Worsley is, to contact the police or Crimestoppers immediately.

If you are protecting Worsley you are not helping him, indeed you are only delaying the inevitable outcome.

Also, I ask you to consider the possible consequences for yourself. If you are shielding Worsley you may be committing offences. If this is the case, you face the prospect of being arrested and may face prosecution.
