Blue car sought in Harrogate collision investigation

PolicePolice in Harrogate are appealing for the driver of a blue car to contact them following a three-car collision on Saturday afternoon.

At around 1.30pm on Saturday 16 March 2013, A black Astra, blue Fiat 500 and silver BMW were travelling in the same direction along Forest Lane Head near the junction with Maple Close when they were involved in a collision.

A fourth, blue vehicle stopped at the scene of the collision but then carried on in the direction of Knaresborough.

Police would like to trace the occupants of this vehicle as they could have vital information which could help the investigation. All that is known about the car, is that it is blue.

Officers would also like to hear from any witnesses to the collision who have not already come forward and spoken to the police.

A woman passenger from the BMW was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.
