18 January 2013

trainersMFT’s team of Instructors are marching into Harrogate to get people fit.

MFT is based in Doncaster and is a national franchise, which is currently expanding across the UK. One of the Company’s key aims is to offer local employment opportunities to appropriately trained fitness instructors.

Running sessions from their base at Harrogate High School 4 times per week. The activity programme is designed around letting people have the most amount of fun, whilst getting fit.

Adam Richardson, the venue manager said:

We know that if we help beginners through the early stages of their fitness programme then they’ll certainly lose weight and avoid injury too.

MFT has offered employment to two sports students from Harrogate College in order to help them run their sessions. This has given these two individuals an otherwise unavailable opportunity to work within this area of fitness. Employment here is often reserved for ex-servicemen and women.

Jon Reynolds, Company Director added:

We believe that it’s the planned classes and personality of the Instructors that make MFT what it is, not their employment history.

MFT has outposts in Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Leicester and Southend-On-Sea. The nationwide franchise has decided to expand its Yorkshire operation before extending any further across the UK.

Recruits at these other MFT outposts have seen some fantastic results – with one member losing as much as 5 stone in weight.

MFT classes will be held evey Mon, Tue, Wed 7-8PM and on Saturday 9-10AM at Harrogate High.
