Perfume theft suspect from Knaresborough chemist

Knaresborough police have released the image of a woman they would like to trace following the theft of perfume in the town.

It was stolen from Boots The Chemist in the Market Place at 4.50pm on Thursday 15 November 2012. It is believed that the suspect took two box sets of Armani Code and Joop perfumes before leaving the shop.

The woman is described as white with a slim build.

PC Cheryl Power, of Knaresborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

If you are the person caught on CCTV and you are not responsible for the theft, I strongly urge you to contact the police so that I can eliminate you from my enquiries.

I also need to speak to anyone who can help to identify the woman and ask them to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers straight away.

Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is asked to contact on 101, press option 2 and ask for can assist to identify the woman suspected of shoplifting is asked to contact Knaresborough police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Cheryl Power.
