Drugs found in Harrogate cemetery

PoliceNorth Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after drugs were found at a cemetery in Harrogate.

After being alerted by a member of the public, officers found a quantity of what are believed to be controlled drugs at Stonefall Cemetery, on Wetherby Road, on Friday 2 November 2012.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Friday to contact them with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
