NCI Vehicle Rescue open new customer service centre

10 October 2012

NCI Vehicle Rescue Plc Managing Director Neil Richards-Smith was pleased to welcome Andrew Jones MP to cut the ribbon and officially open the new bespoke customer service centre at its Clarendon House head office on Victoria Avenue, Harrogate.

NCI has reinforced its long-term commitment to the town by taking a further 2,500 sq ft on the third floor and extending the lease on its existing 5,000 sq ft on the fourth flour. The expansion is to cope with increased client numbers and will house a team dedicated to offering great customer service.

Andrew Jones, MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, was interested in the history of NCI and commented:

What an inspiring story, starting with two people in a loft and within a few years turning over more than ten million pounds, employing 75 colleagues and still growing – it’s fantastic.

It must be very exciting to be part of a fast, high growth business. That growth presents opportunities for you all and there is a real buzz about the business, which you can sense when you walk in. It’s great for the local economy to have a local business employing local people and doing so well. That entrepreneurial spirit we see at NCI in abundance needs to be encouraged both locally and nationally. Well done all of you and keep up the good work.

Neil Richards-Smith added:

We have enjoyed impressive growth recently across all sectors and this should continue at similar levels for a number of years. Part of our strategy is to continue to invest in our people and equipment and the expansion onto the third floor helps accommodate the necessary increase in staff numbers.

It was natural to expand our office space at Clarendon House as we find the premises ideal for our requirements. Our customer service team require an environment that allows them to excel, and we believe we have provided that environment here in Harrogate.

With plans to employ another 25 people in the current financial year it may not be long until further expansion is needed.
