Police renew appeal for information following A59 collision near Kettlesing

PolicePolice investigating a collision on the A59 at Kettlesing are appealing for the driver of a purple or blue hatchback car to contact them.

At around 8.10am on Thursday 20 September 2012, the car was seen travelling along the A59 and made a right turn into Whitewall Lane in Kettlesing.

At the same time, a silver Peugeot 206, travelling in the opposite direction towards Harrogate, left the road, hit a telegraph pole and came to rest on its side in a ditch.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 25-year-old man from Bradford sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Police are appealing for the driver of the hatchback to contact them as they could have vital information which could assist the investigation into the collision.

They would also like to hear from anyone who was travelling along the A59 on Thursday morning and saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision, or saw the Peugeot leave the road.
