Harrogate College have come to the rescue over fears that a local enthusiast’s Trans Pennine run may have been cancelled.

The annual Trans Pennine Run was in jeopardy of being cancelled after extreme rainfall left Harrogate Stray too wet to run the classic vehicle show on. Harrogate College came to the rescue and donated the college car park to use over fears that the classic vehicle run and show may have been cancelled. Harrogate College will have food and drinks available at the HG2 Café.

We have run the event for 44 years and it is always very popular, historically we have used the Stray but I am delighted the Trans Pennine Run will go ahead at Harrogate College this year.

We felt it was vital that the Trans Pennine Run go ahead despite the Stray been too waterlogged. Harrogate College is a community resource and we wanted the show to be enjoyed by everyone despite the weather.
