Law firm McCormicks has appointed a new Commercial Litigation solicitor.
Philip Edmondson joins the Harrogate-based firm as an Associate and will focus on litigation, working with Senior Partner Peter McCormick OBE, within the Corporate and Commercial team.
Philip, who studied Law at the University of Leeds, joins McCormicks from the Leeds office of a national law firm. He has experience of a wide range of litigation cases, including having acted for a well-known bank in negligence cases against surveyors; in a substantial dispute between a manufacturer and one of its main raw material suppliers; and in two significant breach of warranty claims arising from corporate transactions.
