Her appointment signals a new phase in the development of Harrogate Family Law, which was set up in 2010 by Andrew Meehan, family law specialist and chairman of Resolution in West and North Yorkshire.

Andrew said:

The range of work being carried out by the firm has expanded over the past 12 months and Libby’s experience in a number of key areas will enable us to take on more cases whilst continuing to give clients the best possible advice and service.

Libby grew up in Yorkshire and has family and friends in the Harrogate area. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and has toured Europe extensively. She is currently planning her next trip which will be to Australia.

She said she was looking forward to developing her experience in areas such as Collaborative Family Law, which the firm specialises in.

Libby added:

This is an exciting career move for me and I am delighted to be part of a young and forward thinking firm with ambitious growth plans.
