 Harrogate lager theft suspects

Harrogate police have released images of two men they would like to speak to following the theft of alcohol.

A case of Carling lager, valued at £18, was taken from Rhythm and Booze on Cold Bath Road, Harrogate at around 3.30pm on Saturday 28 April 2012.

The man who is believed to have taken the lager is white, around 6ft tall with a slim build and dark hair. At the time he was wearing a dark coloured hooded top.

A second man, who officers believe may have distracted the staff while the theft took place, is white, taller then the first man. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and a red bandana around his neck.

PC Dan Ridgeway, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

I urge anyone who recognises either of the men to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.

If this is a case of mistaken identity I would also encourage the men to contact the police so that they can be eliminated from out enquiries.
