Police have now released the name of a man who died the result of a road traffic collision which occurred at around 5.30pm on Thursday 17 May 2012, on the A684 near Hawes.
He was Richard David Turner, who was aged 35 and from Appersett, near Hawes.
The collision involved a blue and white Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle, travelling from Leyburn towards Hawes, and a red Case tractor.
The inquest was opened and adjourned today (Monday 21 May 2012).
