Police investigate Tockwith tractor theft

Boroughbridge police are appealing for information following the theft of a tractor from Tockwith. It was stolen between 8.30pm on Sunday 6 May and 8.30am on Monday 7 May 2012, from a small holding on Tockwith Lane on the outskirts of the village. The thieves broke into a shed before stealing a blue Lenar 274-1 tractor, which is valued at £4,000.

PC Neil Roworth, of Boroughbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

I would like to speak to anyone who can help identify those responsible for the theft. I ask that they contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
