Key Audit Appointment at Saffery Champness

National accountancy firm Saffery Champness has appointed corporate audit and accounts specialist Jonathan Davis to help lead the expansion of its Harrogate office.

Davis joins from RSM Tenon where he was an associate director in the audit and accounts team, based at Leeds and Harrogate, and worked throughout Yorkshire with some of the region’s leading owner managed businesses, large corporates and international organisations.

He previously worked for KPMG for nine years where he first met Martin Holden, head of office at Saffery Champness.

Jonathan said he was pleased to be joining the firm at a pivotal time in its development.

Jonathan said: 

Saffery Champness is poised for significant expansion in Harrogate and is set to become a dominant force in this vibrant economic region.

I see this as an excellent opportunity to assist with business development throughout North and West Yorkshire where there is a great deal of corporate activity and a lot of exciting business going on.
